The Pressurised Fluidised-Bed Combustion Project was based in the Experimental Facility at Grimethorpe (near Barnsley, South Yorkshire). The Project aimed to provide a facility for investigating pressurised fluidised-bed combustion (PFBC) systems under different operating conditions.
